What is the difference between line interactive and double conversion ups systems ? 

Line interactive ups systems are designed for computer loads, where double conversion systems take the incoming AC power, convert it to DC power, and then reconvert it back to AC power. This type UPS assures clean power at all times since it is running off of the output inverter.
